Pavehall Group work with leading Consultants on multiple projects and are currently retained on a Framework Agreement by The Crown Estate across their wider portfolios working on High Risk Buildings (HRB’s) as described under the Building Safety Act.
We work with the Building Safety Regulator through the specific gateways and “Golden Thread” information to detail and prescribe the works required in each stage of the gateways to ensure the submission of fire safety information. We are dual qualified to act as Building Safety Regulator Principal Designer and CDM Principal Designer. We hold Professional Indemnity Insurance for £10 million.
Pavehall are currently working under a Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) project framework across circa £3 billion London property portfolio. Our specialist site technicians are BM TRADA qualified to carry out commercial and residential surveys and remedial FRA repairs. BM TRADA is a UKAS accredited certification body which provides independent third-party certification fire services for manufacturing, installation and maintenance service for fire doors and a fire stopping installation certification scheme. Once the FRA surveys are carried out and signed off, the existing portfolio stock is priority planned, programmed and either upgraded or completely replaced and renewed to current UK Building Regulations. The works specifically relate to fire protection ‘Approved Document B’ with Passive and Active systems being introduced to satisfy the requirements of the regulations.
We are currently working on developing detailed designs across multiple High-Risk Buildings (HRB) as defined by the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) and Building Safety Act (BSA) 2022. At Pavehall, fire risk assessments (FRAs) are a key component of our cladding remediation services. Through our wealth of experience we provide detailed evaluations the fire safety of your building’s external wall systems to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with the BSR to achieve a new EWS1 Certificate.
