PAVEHALL GROUP BUILDING SAFETY REMEDIATION and HIGH RISK BUILDINGS UPDATE.

Published 29 January 2026

With a significant programme of planned works through 2026–2027, Pavehall provides specialist support to:

Local Authorities, Freeholders, Property Managers, Architects, and BSR duty holders across the UK.

We demonstrate proven skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours (SKEB), having successfully secured multiple BSR Gateway 2 Approvals and commenced major FRA-led works across London property portfolios valued at circa £3bn. This milestone reflects the trust placed in Pavehall to guide High-Risk Buildings through the Building Safety Regime with clarity, competence, and regulatory assurance.

Our BM TRADA-qualified site technicians deliver commercial and residential FRA surveys and remedial works, supported by in-house Chartered Construction Professionals (MRICS, MCIOB, MCABE). This ensures robust competence across assessment, design, and delivery.

Following FRA sign-off, buildings are assessed, prioritised, and programmed to achieve compliance with current UK Building Regulations. A core focus of our work is fire protection under Approved Document B, including the design, coordination, and installation of passive and active life safety systems, alongside the preparation of Gateway 2 technical submissions.

Current works across BSR-defined High-Risk Buildings include:

  • Façade and cladding remediation
  • Fire door repairs and renewal
  • Fire stopping, compartmentation, cavity barriers, and linear gap seals
  • Life safety systems, including AOVs, fire alarms, and NIC EIC-certified electrical and emergency lighting

Pavehall operates as an RICS Regulated Firm, a CIOB Chartered Building Company, and a CABE Company Partner, delivering trusted expertise in high-risk building compliance and life safety design.
